European Cyber Security Challenge 2021 is an important event planned within the government strategy The Country for the Future with an emphasis on international cooperation. It aims to present the Czech Republic with innovative ideas and companies and make it visible in Europe. The European Cyber Security Challenge is a key activity of the European Union Agency for Cyber Security (ENISA). It aims to support cyber security talent across Europe
and harness their potential in public organisations, private companies and science and research.

The Horizon News web portal will be full of educational lectures, video interviews with celebrities, small CTF games, courses, tests and quizzes. At the same time, it will serve as a tool for real-time monitoring of team points.

Conference „Does the human brain stand a chance?“
During the ECSC 2021 challenge an accompanying conference will also take place. How can AI algorithms get confused and how to prevent that? Can AI be misused to influence people’s decisions? What competencies do we need to keep AI under control?

„We must be able to find and support talented young people who will become the backbone of the security of the Czech Republic and the whole of Europe in the future. This is the only way we can deal  with ímcurrent and future threats. I see this as the main benefit of the ECSC.“
